| Torema wins Transformer supply for Rail station upgrade work |
Torema has accepted orders to supply two large isolation transformers for the Springfield Central and Spring railway station projects in Brisbane. Rated at 315KVA and 500KVA. these transformers are used to isolate the rail earthing system from the grid supply earthing system. They are designed to meet Queensland Rail specifications including 316 stainless steel closures, QR compliant locking and safety mechanisms, and ingress rating up to IPS6. They are designed to run cool, quiet, and utilise passive cooling.
